Margo is amazing! She helped my wife and I hunt for and purchase our home in Union City in 2015 in an extremely competitive market. Her knowledge, expertise and immense familiarity with East Bay real estate enabled us to submit competitive offers, and we were ultimately able to find a great home. After a change in jobs and a move out of the area, it was a no-brainer to have Margo help sell our house. This was at the start of the COVID outbreak in mid-April, and we had to contend with ever-changing regulations in the real estate market that upended the normal flow of selling a house. Margo used her amazing networking skills to bring in numerous offers in a market that was otherwise stifled by all the new regulatory challenges. That's multiple offers during a time when we weren't able to hold an open house or even allow potential buyers to step foot onto the property before submitting offers, which is nothing short of miraculous. Margo was awesome. She's obviously very experienced and knowledgeable. She took the time to walk us through every detail of the process, and if there was anything that we didn't understand she was happy to explain. This guidance was invaluable to us as first time home buyers. Margo was great at setting up times for showings on short notice, and she was very responsive to texts and emails. The whole time I felt like we were on top of things and everything went surprisingly smooth. When we went to see the house, she was very outgoing and introduced us to the neighbors. Margo Hood sold our home for 24% over our asking price. Our home was on the market for only 6 days. We received multiple, generous offers. We couldn't be happier with Margo's results. In the current crazy housing market in the San Francisco Bay Area, we expected our house to sell at or somewhat over our asking price and that it would take several weeks to a month.
